Nickolas Grace was born in England and trained at the Central School of Speech and Drama.

He acted in William Shakespeare's play, "A Midsummer's Night Dream," in a Bristol Old Vic Theatre Company production at the Theatre Royal in Bristol, England with Robert O'Mahoney, Clive Wood, Clive Wouters, Mark Buffery, Meg Davies, Louise Jameson, and Daniel Day-Lewis (played Philostrate) in the cast.

Following a recurring role in 1993 as the unnamed 'Consultant' on Victor Lewis-Smith's loosely hospital-based sketch show Inside Victor Lewis-Smith, Grace played Marcus Green, the long-suffering husband of Dorien in Birds of a Feather, in a couple of episodes between 19.
